These Terms are an agreement between you and LK Ferb LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, PO Box 3376, Barrington, IL 60011-3376 ("we," "us"), for use of Ferb Screen and ferbscreen.com (the "Service"). By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Ferb Screen answers calls you forward to it. An automated AI attendant asks callers for their name and reason for calling, performs a quick robot check, and sends you a short summary and transcript by text, email, or push notification. Call recordings are not kept.
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, keeping your login secure, and the accuracy of the information you give us. You may only forward phone numbers you own or are authorized to control.
Laws about recording and transcribing calls differ by state and country. Illinois and several other states require the consent of all parties. Our attendant tells each caller that the call is automated and will be transcribed and shared with you. You agree to:
You are responsible for how you use the transcripts and summaries you receive.
By opting in to text alerts, you agree to receive call summary alerts and account messages from Ferb Screen at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies with your call volume. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time; reply HELP for help or email [email protected]. Consent to texts is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile number and opt-in information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Ferb Screen is not an emergency service. Do not rely on it for urgent or emergency calls. Call forwarding depends on your phone carrier, and transcripts and robot checks are produced automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Some legitimate calls may be flagged and some unwanted calls may get through.
The Service relies on providers such as Telnyx (telephony and speech), Cloudflare (hosting), and Stripe (payments). We are not responsible for outages or errors caused by them or by your phone carrier.
We own the Service, its software, and its branding. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service while your subscription is active. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse it.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that could harm others or expose us to legal risk. You may stop using the Service at any time.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR MISSED CALLS, LOST BUSINESS, OR LOST DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law, including call consent laws.
We may update these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you by email or in the Service before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.
